In just a few days, we’ll see “Saturday Night Live” alum Tina Fey take the stage with longtime friend and fellow comedian Amy Poehler as the dynamic duo host the 70th Annual Golden Globes (see an amusing promo right here). However, big news for the comedienne has arrived on the big screen front as THR reports Fey is in the final stages of locking down a deal to take the lead female role in Disney’s The Muppets sequel.
