Todd Phillips, Wes Anderson & More Audition to Direct New ‘Star Wars’

Even though producer Frank Marshall says the director shortlist for Star Wars: Episode VII is down to only two names, it seems a few more directors are (comically) throwing their names in for consideration. We’ve already seen entries from Kevin Smith, Woody Allen, and Michael Moore, but now Conan O’Brien and his late night crew have created a few new parody “audition” tapes from Todd Phillips, whose take looks very much like The Hangover, Wes Anderson, who gives his version a bit of Rushmore flair, and an infamous horror director that has something terrifying in store for those Ewoks.
