Watch: Al Pacino is ‘Phil Spector’ in Trailer for David Mamet’s HBO Film
Though we’re primarily concerned with films in theaters, we’re happy to cover a few worthy films that debut on TV (mostly on the cable channel HBO), especially after Game Change, starring Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin (a performance we raved about). Such is the case with Phil Spector, another HBO film starring Al Pacino (who also starred in the cable network’s acclaimed film You Don’t Know Jack) as the titular legendary music producer who came to be on trial for murder.
