Watch: Avid’s Editing-Focused ‘Secrets from Inside Bad Robot’ Video

Gather ’round if you’ve always wanted to work in production in Hollywood, this is a video for you. Avid, the makers of some of the best editing software around, have released a webinar video titled “Secrets from Inside Bad Robot”, detailing the all-under-one-roof organization that allows filmmaker J.J. Abrams the ability to swiftly move from one area to another in post-production. As pointed out, TrekMovie (via AICN) has a breakdown of some Star Trek Into Darkness shots seen in this, but beyond that it’s just cool to see the inner-workings of Bad Robot on camera. They’ve opened up quite a bit, allowing bloggers inside for a tour, though this video is mostly producer Ben Rosenblatt talking about what goes down behind closed doors.
