Watch: Full-Length French Trailer for ‘The Dictator’ Shows Plot Twist

“We are just two ordinary, American tourists.” So this isn’t exactly Borat after all. Paramount France has posted a full French trailer via Dailymotion for The Dictator, the new Sacha Baron Cohen comedy, where he plays a “fictional” dictator from the Middle East who comes to America. We’ve seen a teaser trailer and even a Super Bowl spot for this, but this is the first trailer to reveal an intriguing (spoiler warning) plot twist, I guess, where he loses his beard, and becomes an ordinary citizen lost in New York. It doesn’t play like a spoiler at all, but does have a lot of potentially offense jokes at the expense of Americans. Check it out.
