Watch: Guillermo del Toro Gives Commentary on ‘Pacific Rim’ Trailer

“A movie where my head would explode if I was 12…” One of the many stellar sci-fi trailers finally unveiled this past week was for Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim, a futuristic giant robots vs giant monsters action extravaganza. But what exactly is it about and what exactly did we see in the trailer? Well, thankfully MTV caught up with director Guillermo del Toro after the debut for this commentary-filled breakdown of the first trailer. They cover a lot, including how much we’ll see of various pieces, what a lot of the early scenes in the trailer are showing us, and much more.
