Watch: Michael Shannon Out for Blood in Ariel Vroman’s ‘The Iceman’
Last fall, Ariel Vroman’s killer thriller The Iceman premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival (see the first trailer here), and the film finally gets a theatrical release this summer. The film sees Michael Shannon showing up on the big screen (before we see him as the villainous General Zod in Man of Steel) as Richard “The Ice Man” Kuklinski, a mafia hit man who murdered at least 100 people, including at least 50 vagrants before he was 18 years old. Ray Liotta, Chris Evans (looking really disheveled and creepy), David Schwimmer and Winona Ryder co-star in the film, and it looks like it should be intense.
