Watch: Teaser Trailer for Tim Burton’s Stop-Motion ‘Frankenweenie’
We’ve been teased with images and a twisted but adorable teaser poster, but now the first official trailer for Tim Burton’s B&W stop-motion animated feature length adaptation of the director’s own short film Frankenweenie from 1984. The original film was a live-action short starring Sofia Coppola, Shelley Duvall and Daniel Stern of Home Alone. Coincidentally enough, this animated adaptation features the voice talent of another Home Alone star in Catherine O’Hara along with Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Tom Kenny and Martin Landau. It follows a young boy who somehow brings his dead dog back to life. Watch!
