Watch: ‘The Impossible’ Featurette Highlights Ewan McGregor & Cast

Now that it’s awards season, we’re seeing which films have the legs to keep the buzz going until the Oscar nominations are announced on January 10th next year. Films like Lincoln, Zero Dark Thirty, Les Miserables and Argo are the frontrunners for Best Picture, but The Impossible has a chance at some awards as well. Two of those chances come from the powerful performances by Ewan McGregor and Naomi Watts who are highlighted in a new featurette for the disaster drama. However, one of the other characters, so to speak, comes from the stunning special effects, but those have already been snubbed from the Oscar shortlist for visual effects.
