For those who don’t know, comedian Robert Smigel (the man behind many cartoons from “Saturday Night Live”) is the voice of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog, the character who skyrocketed to fame thanks to “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.” You may not recognize Smigel, but he has had small parts in films like Happy Gilmore and has a bit part as one of Paul Rudd’s friends in Judd Apatow’s new comedy This is 40.
