Few people outside of Spain have even heard of the post-Colonial drama of the Sarhawi people who live to this day in the Western Sahara. But that’s something Javier Bardem wants to change. The Spanish actor has thrown his weight behind Alvaro Longoria’s Sons of the Clouds: The Last Colony as producer and star to focus some of his starlight on one of the darker corners of the world.
