First Trailer for Documentary ‘Samsara’ Has Stunning 70mm Imagery

Following their fantastic films Baraka, filmmakers Ron Fricke (who also edited the iconic Koyaanisqatsi) and Mark Magidson are back with a stunning new documentary called Samsara. Fricke says the film “will delve deeper into my favorite theme: humanity’s relationship to the eternal.” Shot entirely on 70mm film (which hasn’t been done in over a decade), the feature length documentary was shot in about 100 locations in 25 countries, and took over four years to complete. The trailer speaks for itself as the imagery is just beautiful, stunning, and would make Terrence Malick turn his head. Watch the gorgeous trailer below!
