First Trailer for Documentary ‘Samsara’ Has Stunning 70mm Imagery

Following their fantastic films Baraka, filmmakers Ron Fricke (who also edited the iconic Koyaanisqatsi) and Mark Magidson are back with a stunning new documentary called Samsara. Fricke says the film “will delve deeper into my favorite theme: humanity’s relationship to the eternal.” Shot entirely on 70mm film (which hasn’t been done in over a decade), the feature length documentary was shot in about 100 locations in 25 countries, and took over four years to complete.
