‘Frankenweenie’ Clip: Tim Burton Resurrects A Classic (VIDEO)

Now that Fall has officially arrived, it’s only a matter of time before the ghosts, goblins and ghouls of Halloween begin to emerge. So, who better to get you in the spirit for the trick-or-treat holiday than the auteur of eeriness, Tim Burton! Adding to his creepy, wide-eyed oeuvre comes “Frankenweenie,” a stop-motion animated adventure that plays off the classic “Frankenstein.” The film follows Vincent Frankenstein, a grade-school youth with a knack for science. But, instead of resurrecting a monster, Vincent works his magic on his departed pooch, Sparky. In a new clip, which you can watch above, Vincent is confronted with the first of his soon-to-be many problems with raising the dead: tattle tales! “Frankenweenie” hits theaters October 5.
