Joel Edgerton & More Officially Join Bigelow’s Osama Bin Laden Film

The first two cast members for Kathryn Bigelow’s film about the hunt and eventual killing of Osama Bin Laden were lesser known, but very talented names in the form of Chris Pratt (Moneyball) and Jason Clarke (“The Chicago Code”), but now a whole slew of actors and actresses are finding their way to the gestating project. Deadline reports that long attached talent Joel Edgerton (Warrior, Animal Kingdom) has officially joined the cast along with Jessica Chastain (Tree of Life), Mark Strong (Sherlock Holmes) and Edgar Ramirez (The Bourne Ultimatum). The script for the film is finally finished and is moving forward. It’s noted that Chastain’s likely involvement in this film may very well take her away from her starring in Horizons with Tom Cruise, so we may have some other casting news to report sometime in the near future for that sci-fi film from Tron Legacy director Joseph Kosinski.
