Kees van Dijkhuizen’s Retrospective of Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man Trilogy

Tonight audiences will be filling IMAX and conventional theaters across the country at midnight to catch a glimpse at The Amazing Spider-Man, the new take on the swinging superhero starring Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker and his wallcrawling alter-ego Spider-Man. But as we are all aware, perhaps too well for Sony’s tastes, less than five years ago saw the third and final installment of Sam Raimi’s take on the Marvel hero, and while it didn’t end on the strongest note, even for fans of the franchise, Kees van Dijkhuizen reminds us there’s still great things to remember from the series starring Tobey Maguire.
