Ian Somerhalder strikes a seriously sexy pose inside the June issue of GQ. The Vampire Diaries star, in collaboration with Ketel One and GQ, is championing a new cause, “A Gentleman’s Call: In Pursuit of an Idea that Matters.” He’s one of the famous faces hand-picked as a mentor in the ultimate gentleman’s competition. Ian’s gentlemanly qualities are one of the many reasons he’s a top contender to play the lead in Fifty Shades of Grey. Ian even admitted he’d like to play Christian Grey in the E.L. James best-selling novel, and even went as far as saying he’s “good with younger women.” Who will play Anastasia Steele is also up for debate, however, Lucy Hale and Alexis Bledel seem to be popular choices among fans of the trilogy.
