Must Watch: Controversial Sundance Indie ‘Compliance’ First Trailer

“You don’t realize what kind of trouble you’re in.” Magnolia Pictures has unveiled the first trailer for Craig Zobel’s Compliance, a film that premiered at Sundance to some controversy, but ended up making quite a splash because of its subversiveness and honesty. Based on a number of true stories, Compliance is about a teenage girl (played by Dreama Walker) working at a fast food restaurant who gets abused by coworkers because a man claiming to be a cop on the phone is telling them what to do. It’s one of those you have to see it to believe it kind of stories, based on real events that happened. It’s a good film, but extremely unsettling.
