Official: Dane DeHaan Cast as Harry Osborn in ‘Amazing Spider-Man 2’

For a small, mostly handheld, low budget film, Chronicle made quite the impression in 2012. The superhero film’s director, Josh Trank, has been fielding tons of offers all year and eventually signed on to helm the Fantastic Four reboot, while writer Max Landis is working on a Chronicle sequel and has his own directorial debut lined up. But the movie’s breakout actor, Dane DeHaan, has had a pretty solid year as well, and now The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb has tweeted that DeHaan will be playing Harry Osborn in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
