Ralph Fiennes Joins ‘Grand Budapest Hotel’ But Who Checked Out?

Fans of Wes Anderson were likely disappointed after hearing that Johnny Depp would not be starring in the Moonrise Kingdom director’s next film The Grand Budapest Hotel, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles. But another new addition to Anderson’s film is also pretty exciting. Variety reports Harry Potter franchise star Ralph Fiennes will be making his debut in Anderson’s quirky little world. Fiennes will play a character named M. Gustave, and he’s the hotel’s concierge who is an expert at keeping his composure. Fiennes joins Jude Law as another actor who hasn’t yet worked with Anderson, but one such talent who was already confirmed to have a supporting role in the film has been forced to drop out.
