Sandler & Samberg Try Hard in New ‘That’s My Boy’ Red Band Trailer

Well, the first red band trailer for the new comedy That’s My Boy starring Adam Sandler and Andy Samberg (who are both now “Saturday Night Live” alums after the latter’s departure from the show last weekend) didn’t do much to impress, and unfortunately, I don’t find more than a light chuckle in a new raunchy red band trailer either. Samberg resurrects a “super dead” joke from Hot Rod (an underrated comedy for sure), but I hope there’s more in the movie that brings the funny. Right now my only hope is for Will Forte and maybe some cameos (a glimpse of James Caan helps) to bring some magic to the comedy.
