Studio Ghibli Retrospective Spanning 14 Films Arrives in Los Angeles

Following a successful run in New York, GKIDS is ready to launch a massive 14-film retrospective for The Studio Ghibli Collection: 1984 to 2002 in Los Angeles. Running for two weeks, starting January 26th to February 12th, at the Egyptian and Aero American Cinematheque Theatres, 14 of the best classic Ghibli films will be screened in all new 35mm prints. Sounds wonderful already. Fourteen Studio Ghibli features produced between 1984 and 2008 will be presented, including Hayao Miyazaki’s Oscar winning Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, My Neighbor Totoro, Castle in the Sky and Howl’s Moving Castle.
