Tobey Maguire Rounds Out the Cast of Jason Reitman’s ‘Labor Day’

Since Andrew Garfield has taken his spot as our friendly neighborhood wallcrawler, Tobey Maguire has moved on to more adult roles, like his turn in Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby (watch the trailer right here). Now he’s landed another grown up role as Deadline reports Maguire has landed the final major role in Jason Reitman’s (Up in the Air, Juno, Young Adult) next film Labor Day, which begins shooting this month. Maguire Joins a cast that already includes Kate Winslet, Josh Brolin, J.K. Simmons and more. Reitman wrote the script himself, based on Joyce Maynard’s book of the same name. Read on!
