Watch: Andy, Lana Wachowski & Tom Tykwer Introduce ‘Cloud Atlas’

“Why keep genres separated?” To follow-up the phenomenal trailer debut this morning, Warner Bros added a featurette for Cloud Atlas on Apple, featuring its three directors—Andy & Lana Wachowski and Tom Tykwer—talking about the project, their ambitions, the concept behind it, and “how this happened”. It starts out rather jokey, but gets better. In the many years I’ve been running this site, this is the first time I have ever seen the Wachowskis do anywhere near this much public speaking about any of their projects. That said, it is cool to see, especially considering how insanely spectacular that trailer looks. Watch below!
