We’ve seen plenty of tales of man versus nature, but in this case, it’s a journey through nature that threatens to destroy love in The Loneliest Planet. The indie has been making the festival rounds for a little while and now the first trailer has arrived. The film follows a young engaged couple (Gael Garcia Bernal and Hani Furstenberg) on the summer before their wedding as they backpack in the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia. While the landscape is gorgeous and they enjoy their time together, something comes up that changes everything, and threatens to undo everything the couple believed about each other and themselves.
