Watch: Original ‘Alien’ Teaser Remade Like the ‘Prometheus’ Trailer

In space no one can hear you scream. We all know the tagline by heart. While the first official teaser trailer for Ridley Scott’s long-awaited return to sci-fi, Prometheus, recalled the original Alien teaser with its lettering, one fan has gone so far as to make the truly perfect homage. YouTube user heresjohnny1991 (via AICN) has recreated the original 1979 Alien teaser trailer in the style of the Prometheus teaser, basically borrowing the music and using similar imagery and editing. And it’s an absolutely awesome throwback that reminds us how this all began. This may not be a new trailer, but it is still unquestionably worth watching.
