Will Forte and Jorma Taccone Are Developing a ‘MacGruber’ Sequel

Sadly, back in 2010, one of the funniest comedies of the last ten years bombed at the box office. That film was MacGruber, based on the “Saturday Night Live” sketch of the same name. However, among several fellow writers and a growing cult fan base, the film has certainly found an audience, and hopefully it will find more with our seal of approval as well. In addition, it sounds like the studio might have noticed a following despite the box office bomb as Screen Crush learned from “SNL” writer, MacGruber director and Lonely Island member Jorma Taccone, that he’s developing a sequel with Will Forte right now.
