Zachary Levi To Take Over the Fandral Role in Marvel’s ‘Thor’ Sequel

“Complicated fellow, isn’t he?” Just 24 hours after it was first revealed that actor Josh Dallas would not be reprising his role as Fandral in Marvel’s Thor 2 sequel, being directed by Alan Taylor this summer, a replacement has already been named. THR says that instead of Dallas, they’ve cast Zachary Levi to play Fandral, one of the Warriors Three, already seen in the first Thor. They remind us that talks are “at an early stage — negotiations have not yet begun, according to sources — but an offer is imminent.” Levi’s cult hit TV show Chuck just wrapped up earlier this year, but Dallas left because he is now on ABC’s Once Upon a Time.
