‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Tops the National Board of Review’s 2012 Awards

Some accolades for The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow’s new film Zero Dark Thirty have started pouring in. The group known as the National Board of Review has revealed their 2012 award winners and complete breakdown of best films of the year. The top winner – Zero Dark Thirty which took home three awards, for Best Director, Best Actress (Jessica Chastain, of course) and Best Film of 2012. But it’s oddly missing from the “Top Films” section, which on the other hand includes generational fave Perks of Being a Wallflower, as well as Looper, Lincoln, Django Unchained and Beasts of a Southern Wild.
